Alex & Alan

Location: South Farms, Morris CT | Season: Fall

I think Alex's mom put it best when she said, " have no words."

This wedding featured not one, not two, not three, but eight speeches. The amount of love in this family was palpable and something I knew had to be a driving factor in their video.

Being invited into this beautiful day was such an honor, and I'm endlessly grateful to Alex and Alan for trusting me with complete creative freedom to tell their love story.

This trailer edit was an all-time favorite for me, for so many reasons. To start, I’ve never been part of a getting-ready shoot that felt so calm. No one was rushed—the energy in the room was light, full of laughter and small, genuine moments. I wanted to reflect that feeling in the trailer by weaving in the sound bites I captured throughout the morning. From there, I aimed for a strong reveal of the couple, while being careful not to give too much away—just a brief moment that says, just you wait.

The Wedding Trailer

The big moments like the ceremony, a couples first dance, or cake cutting are always so fun to film, but it's the little moments that I love capturing the most. The intimate, sweet, raw and gentle moments when no one is watching and a couple just gets to be.

The Little Moments

When I’m planning a social edit, finding the right song is always a bit of a challenge. I can scroll for hours, download dozens of tracks, and still feel like none of them quite fit. But when I stumbled across this song, I immediately knew it would be the perfect backing for their social media edit.
